Let the ROAR-ing Continue!

Making dinosaur tracks with playdoh and plastic dinosaur figurines.

Dinosaur 3-part cards from http://www.montessorimaterials.org/
Most thankful for kind moms and educators who care to share. :-)

We played 'Dinosaur Bingo' magnetic board type. This particular one is by MMII Smethport Specialty Co. You can make your own from the 3-part cards you make on any subject. Just have 8 boards with 4x4 amount of pics on each board. Mix them up so that each board has a different configuration of the same pics on it. If you have a Xyron 900 or Xyron 900 Creative Station, you can add a layer of magnet to their backs or you can purchase the magnet sheets from Office Depot, Staples or even Walmart and do the same. Then punch out magnetic 'dot' or any shape you please from the magnet sheets and make a total of 48 of them for markers. Make a spin selector of the dinosaurs/whatever your subject matter is and take turns spinning. If not you can number each dinosaur and get a die that goes up to 16 and take turns that way. Again, the quantity is not fixed at 8, 4x4 and 48. You can pick any combination you please. Also, here are some bingo creators I found:

E playing with Sierra, our long-haired dachschund. The dino cut-outs are easy to make.
Get details at the end of today's blog.

Tyrannosaurus Rex

Pteranodon

E painted dinosaurs on his easel.

E worked on a 48-piece wooden dinosaur puzzle.

And we went here http://www.rain.org/~philfear/download-a-dinosaur.html for easy-to-make dinosaurs that you can print (I recommend cardstock) and cut. Just need scissors (I used X-acto knife) and glue plus stapler. E colored some of them too, so maybe colored pencils as well.

Some dino fun:
