When asked what color his day was at the end of last evening, he answered - ALL THE COLORS! :-) So daddy asked what color his day was going to be the next day and E said, "Blue and red = purple day!" Awesome! Such happiness and simplicity I enjoy recalling and experiencing with child.
For Fun Friday, E played with open-ended materials - play dough, wooden blocks, LEGOS and then he drew and drew and scribbled and drew some more! :-) None of those pointless, harmful, thief of creativity plastic toys for him. They are around, I admit, from gifts, etc. - more as props for him - he gets bored with them fast as they don't respond or let his mind manipulate them into something he envisions with his mind's eye and finally materialise into his own creation. We've also started a Toddler Devotional at our home early Fri. mornings and right now, we have a little 16 month old coming over (so very cute) to pray and sing praises with E. A wonderful and most welcome addition to a glorious Friday here in our humble abode.
