Glue Snowflakes
Materials needed:
White Glue
Wax Paper
Salt/Sugar
Glitter
Draw snowflake shape on wax paper. Apply glue along those lines. Sprinkle glitter. Then sprinkle salt/sugar over it to give it more firmness when dry. Let the whole thing dry then peel off wax paper and hang them!
Scratch Art
Cover entire cardstock (white) with crayon coloring. Make sure no white shows. Then paint over the entire crayon coloring with black tempera paint. Let it dry. Then, with a toothpick, scratch out a pic of whatever your heart pleases. Fun, fun, fun!!
Funny Collage
Get a stack of old mags and have your child pick out and cut parts of the body from diff. pics. e.g. legs from one pic, head from another, etc. Then put them together on a piece of paper, glue them and have a few good laughs, perhaps even a guffaw from your little one! LOL!
