When the rain let up, E and I went to our backyard (our fave pastime) and he used his spade and dug out some soil and placed it on a large baking sheet. Then he began to investigate its contents with a magnifying glass. Wish I had taken pics of him at work but I didn't. :-(He came across an earthworm.....

an ant.........
and a twig, all of which he recorded into his Science Journal.
Then he planted three sunflower seeds and a couple have sprouted. He did this one on Earth Day.
