E worked on Geography and had a revision with world maps and globes. We have 4 globes in the house (one of which is an inflatable ball) and the picture shows one of them - it senses finger touching on the surface and will provide info in 10 categories e.g. food, etc.
Here he is matching wooden puzzle pieces of continents to his 100 pc puzzle Map of the World that he had just completed.

We talked about all the animals, landmarks and cultural items in relation to their respective continents present on the puzzle.
Simple beginning but much was learned from exploration, extension, conversation and curiosity. More work on this in the coming days............
