The weather turned out to be better than expected today so E and I headed outdoors to inspect the yard and the damage incurred by overnight frost as well as collect some leaves that have fallen. So for art today, we created the following:
TODAY'S ARTWORK

This was supposed to be a fish but I personally think it looks more like a prehistoric bird.

A girl.

A rooster.

A turtle.
BOTANY

3-part cards for The Flowers.

The Flower puzzle.

E's working on the puzzle.

Love the fallen leaves. We too have been enjoying the activies with the leaves before they all go.
All year I had been looking forward to a fall of lots and lots of planting and I think we did quite a bit to satiate my incessant desire to have a beautiful yard/garden. We still have some hundred bulbs of tulip to plant before the end of fall. Now comes the time for diving into and kicking up fallen leaves that are steadily creating a huge pile in our yard. I'm glad to report that I have now arrived at the point where I am even enjoying the dust that's produced when one mows over dead leaves. LOL! This is progress! FYI I am originally from Malaysia and of Chinese-Indian parentage; married to an American. Hence, the excitement and joy over small but different things from those previously experienced. :-)
