E has been talking about dinosaurs for at least a year if not more and this has been a constant in his life and recently he told me that he wanted to look for dinosaur fossils and eggs. So, he asks, "What am I?" to which I replied, "Palaeontologist!". "Yes, mom, I want to be a paleontologist." Well, I thought .......this would be the perfect opportunity for the start in Timeline of History lessons. And so we did ..................

In addition to all these, E wrote all the first letters for each type of dinosaur he learned. (sounded them out first). Also practiced writing 'd' for dinosaur. Then he played some free dinosaurs games online at http://www.abc.net.au/dinosaurs/dino_playground/ and http://www.kidsdinos.com/dinosaur-games/dinosaur-match.php. He did also enjoy some free worksheets on dinosaur at http://www.learningpages.com/ and visited a dino virtual museum at http://www.nps.gov/dino/

I love the drawings! Children's drawings are always so interesting to me. Once, one of mine drew me and made sure to point out that she included my necklace. It's amazing the details that they remember!
Thank you! I treasure them. Gives me a chance to peek into his mind. :-)
