Another day with nature plus others

Phonics - sounding and matching lower case alphabets

Sequencing - telling a story - what came first?

Four seasons - Big Little E had his hand painted brown which he then stamped onto his paper that's the tree trunk and branches. He then drew green leaves with sun for the first pic - Summer, red flowers on the second tree - Spring, black and falling leaves - Fall (he insisted on the black - lol), no leaves for the last tree - Winter

Hungry for a small pocket of silence this morn., I decided to rise 15 minutes earlier. Had a little time to squeeze out ideas for the day and fit must-dos into my plan. Happy to note that everyone got off to a good start. Big Little E and I ventured outside again today and picked some flowers.......

Here's the flower petal collage he put together

He started plucking the petals off one by one. Gave him a chance to actually have a sensorial lesson. He smelled it, touched it, saw it but no tasting please.....:-)

He piled them according to flower

Started pasting the petals.......

Perhaps we'll head to the hammock now with some books to read - together.

Invest in more mommy-son time!
