Working with pink cubes. Had also built the Pink Tower with them.
Done with glue work. Glue is dried to create resist.

I've been wanting to get here again so badly but so many things got in the way and I'll spare the details. Glad to be back again.
Big Little E and I have started Zoology lessons with Fish. We have goldfishes in a large aquarium at home. So that provides us with a great opportunity to start with that. My older son has two parakeets, a cockatiel and a big fat rat too! Good representation of Bird and Mammal. Back to Fish, he feeds them everyday and then we do the puzzle and three part cards as well as learn the function of parts. We also use the pieces of the puzzle to draw outlines and put them together to form a fish. It reinforces the lesson. In addition, he also puts the puzzle together outside the frame.
He's been painting more wooden blocks with animal shapes. He did an abstract painting which really was fun. We used glue as resist for it. He squeezed lines of glue all over the paper randomly in continuous lines and we let it dry out in the sun to speed up the process. Once dried hard, he just painted over with watercolor and made a pretty piece of art.
Sensorial lessons - pink cubes.
Practical Life - I let him do just about anything I do as long as it's safe. He's quite a pro now with clothes washing, dishwashing, not so much with sweeping although he has his own broom which works well - he tends to play with that more than work, folding towels, great help in the kitchen - cracks eggs, washes rice, cooks rice in the rice cooker and anything else as long as not near heat, transferring with tongs, etc.
Mathematics - can count till 50. I have not moved from there though I know that he can because it's repetitive after every 10th number. We've been doing math cards and counters - addition and some substraction. Other than that we've almost finished an entire math workbook from Carson-Dellosa.
Reading - a lot and all kinds.
He's been telling me and his brothers made-up stories at dinner time and we've been having a blast. Guess daddy missed out as he's away. :-)
We've need to return to Geog., etc. and I'll start on Mon.
Such a fulfilling journey for me as a mom.
